Empowered Holistic Birth Community Birth School®


What

EHB Community Birth School® offers traditional midwifery programs, midwifery workshops, and a space for community birth workers to connect. The official opening is planned for June of 2024. This program is designed for anyone with a heart for service to birthing women. You can join as someone who has never experienced a birth or as someone who has years of experience in birth work. EHB Community Birth School® offers programs that fit the student's needs. Angie Danek, Director, believes that you never truly stop learning. She is excited to share the wealth of knowledge from the Ancient Art Midwifery® traditional curriculum alongside of local community midwives' guidance and instruction.

Where


Located on the beautiful family farm and healing compound in Southwestern PA. The school is located an hour South of Pittsburgh; 45 minutes North of Morgantown, WV; and one hour East of Steubanville, OH.

Who


Angie has been a birth professional for the past 17 years. She has worked both in and out of hospitals, has trained doulas for years, worked as a childbirth and parent educator, and enjoyed her work as a patient advocate.

She founded Empowered Holistic Birth LLC in 2019 with 3 founding members who were doulas on her team--since then, EHB has grown into a team of 10 birth & postpartum doulas, specialists in placenta encapsulation and lactation and three midwifery apprentices. Her journey to becoming a midwife began in 2021 with her enrollment into the Ancient Art Midwifery® traditional midwifery program.

Her passions include pregnancy nutrition, chiropractic care for moms and babies, farming, natural healing, and more.
